Walkera 4G1B 2.4GHz (Metal Head Version)

The Walkera 4G1B is an uprgade from the Walkera Dragonfly4. The 4G1B has a metal head that comes standard and running new 2.4GHz electronics.

A great little entry heli. Stable, precise control and perfect for learning circuit flying.

Since purchasing this nice little heli, it become noticable there was not enough power. The stock 3.7v 1000mah powerpacks do not hold their power resulting in an under powered heli. I decided to boost the power source and blew the receiver in the process. So I done a complete rebuild of the electronics and went Spekrtum with full seperates electronics.

Mods and Upgrades
I have upgraded to:
* DX6i
* AR6200 View my DX6i, AR6200 settings and servo setup
* HexTronic HXT900 servos on cyclic
* 7.4v 1000 mah Flight Pack (2x 3.7v 1000mah Stock 4G1B lipos wired in a series)
* Walkera WDF4 main blades
* Super skid adaptors
* Esky Belt CP landing skids
* Turnigy ESC Programming Card
* Swallow EQ Charger for all helicopter flight packs
Main
* Orca 3400KV (pics below show Turnigy 3000kv installed)
* 4G1B stock 12t pinion
* Turnigy Plush 25A ESC
    Programmed as follows:
    -Brake: Off
    -Battery Type: Lipo
    -Cut Off Type: Soft
    -Cut Off Voltage: Middle
    -Start Mode: Soft
    -Timing Mode: Middle
    -Music: INH
    -Govener Mode: Off
Tail
* Turnigy Eurodrive 3850KV - 4G1B stock 8t geared tail assembly and tail blade, not direct drive
* Turnigy Plush 10A ESC - BEC is not disabled - Programmed matching main ESC
* Esky EK2-0704A Head Lock Gyro

I have had to modify the tail gear pinion by drilling out the pinion to match the diameter of the shaft. I also have made two servo blocks to mount and brace both cyclic servos.

Total flying weight: 368g (incl 2x 3.7v 1000mah packs)
Flight time: 5 minutes per flight pack. Timed flights. (Not using low cutoff settings)
Flying duration: 1 flight.
Number of flights to date: Approx 35
Flight days: try to most Saturdays and Sundays
Flying characteristics: Hovers, Lazy 8's.
After flight temperature: Motor's, ESC's, and battery luke warm.
Crashes: Many.
Repairs: Mainly blades.
