1/8 Scale Nitro Monster Truck
This MT is 4WD. Runs a 15CXP engine on 20% Liquid Nitro Methane and Caster Oil. Front and rear differentials from a central gearbox.
Mods and Upgrades
I have done a few modifications to the truck, upgrading the clutch shoes and spring, pull start to an electric starter and onboard glow driver.
I've also made a homemade LED light kit running off a 9volt battery with a micro switch activating the rear dual brake lights. Nice bright blue headies on the front.
Speed between 55-60KMH.
January, 2009 after my stock radio decided to die on me, I purchased a Futaba 2PL 2ch radio with a R152JE receiver, 2x S3003 servos, battery box and switch. The servos
I decided not to purchase with the package as I had no use for them, so this saved me $20.00. The Futaba 2PL is a computer radio with 10 model memory and much more.
Purchasing only additional receivers would be needed to be installed in other 2ch cars or boats to run off the same radio with their own independant settings. COOL!!
