Align T_Rex 450s
This Align TRex450s bought 23 May, 2009 is a kit 85% assembled (upper and lower frames, head and tail units), complete with 430X 3550kv brushless motor, RCM-BL35X 35A ESC and 325mm carbon blades.
You need to complete the building of the kit and install all your own electronics (cyclic and tail servos, gyro, receiver and transmitter) set the head, gyro and program the transmitter.
I've had an ACE RC TG6000 Head Lock Gyro/servo combo for a while but never used it, and decided to try it on the TRex. So decided to hold off on the GY48V Detrum gyro I planned on using when I purchased the TRex.
The GY48V is now on my King 2.

* Swallow EQ Charger for all helicopter flight packs
* Flight Simulator: Clearview
Total flying weight: 847g (incl Zippy Rhino 11.1v 2350mah 25c). 991g with floats.
Flight time: 8 minutes per flight pack. Timed flights. (Not using low cutoff settings)
Flying duration: 6 flights. 3 in the morning, 3 in the afternoon.
Number of flights to date: Approx 119
Flight days: try to most Saturdays and Sundays
Flying characteristics: Lazy 8's, circuits no 3D.
After flight temperature: Motor, ESC, and battery barely warm.
Crashes: Only 1. First one after 66 flights. Damage: blades. main shaft and head unit.
